We encourage all members of the MU community to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Students, faculty and staff who provide a record of their COVID-19 vaccination information can enter to win exciting prizes with a series of drawings starting Aug. 9, 2021.

Prizes include:

  • Shoot the cannon at a football game.
  • Two free basketball tickets, plus be in the halftime free-throw contest (if you meet eligibility requirements).
  • Family weekend tailgate for a family of six. Includes free T-shirts, food, football tickets.
  • One year of free parking (100 winners).

The earlier you complete your vaccination, the more prizes you will be eligible to win! There are more than 268 prizes up for grabs for eligible individuals. The last day to upload your vaccination info to win is Sept. 30, 2021.

Drawing dates

Every two weeks beginning Aug. 9, the university will draw names of vaccinated students and employees to win prizes. The five drawings will be:

  • Aug. 9 and 23
  • Sept. 7 and 21
  • Grand prize drawing — Oct. 4

  • Grand prize: Five students win $5,000 scholarship
  • 1st prize: Ten students will win $2,500
  • 2nd prize: Twenty students will win $1,000 scholarship
  • 3rd prize: Thirty students will win $500 scholarship

  • Dinners for winners and guests with Mizzou celebrities, including
    • Football Coach Eli Drinkwitz.
    • Men’s Basketball Coach Cuonzo Martin.

Prizes are available only for MU students and employees (MU and UM System)

  • Individuals must be fully vaccinated and have proof of vaccination on file by the close of business the day prior to the drawing.
  • Students must register through myZou and provide their documentation.
  • Employees must provide documentation of their vaccination at MyHR.
  • Students must be enrolled in at least one course for the fall 2021 semester on the close of business on the day prior to the drawing.
  • Employees must be employed on the date of the drawing.

Need to know

  • Value of the prizes may be subject to tax.
  • Individuals may receive only one prize.
  • Prizes are not transferable.
  • Prizes may be subject to certain date restrictions.
