The Counseling Center

The Counseling Center is offering remote individual therapy to enrolled Mizzou students. If you are interested in therapy, call 573-882-6601 to schedule an initial evaluation.

The Counseling Center is offering several remote group therapy options for Mizzou students for the fall 2020 term. If you are interested in one of the below groups, call 573-882-6601 to inquire further.

Online workshops include topics like mindfulness, mediation and yoga.

For employees

Employee Assistance Program

All employees — regardless of eligibility for other benefits — have access to free, confidential help for personal or professional challenges. The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides counseling services and occupational stress programs. You may also choose to connect with a provider from the comfort of home with the behavioral health services available through university insurance.

The clinic is offering remote therapy for anyone who wants help coping with stress and anxiety.

Sanvello

A free app available for any student, faculty or staff member with a university email address, Sanvello has tools to create a mental health roadmap and track the progress of a user’s journey.

Guided mindful practices

The UM System’s webpage offers basic meditation and relaxation practices.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

The CDC has helpful suggestions for coping with stress during the pandemic.

Family Access Center of Excellence

FACE of Boone County recently partnered with the Missouri Prevention Science Institute, Boone County Mental Health Coalition and the Center for Evidence-Based Youth Mental Health to develop a free, searchable database of all social services in Boone County.
